The "Vegetable Growers' Companion" brings together, in a concise form, the field information gathered from six years of vegetable trials. The data should be used as a ready reference and guideline to the various disciplines involved with vegetable growing under local conditions. The tables indicate the performance of vegetable crops and varieties under different dates of planting. It also provides a breackdown on man-hour spent towards growing the numberous vegetables. Much of the information is subject to change in the future with the implementation of improved practices that enhance input efficiency and raise the production level.
