ECHO Asia: Tropical Agriculture & Development (TAD) Course

This 1-week course is designed for development workers, missionaries, and volunteers looking to engage their communities with low-cost, high-impact agricultural innovations and techniques. Participants will be introduced to various agricultural practices and technologies through classroom time and hands-on activities on the farm, learning to 'use what you have to make what you need.'
This course is considered an 'introductory survey course' and will present a broad overview of many options suited to smallholder agricultural contexts in Asia.

Cost
The TAD Course Fee, including lunch and coffee breaks, is 5000 Thai baht.
If you are coming from out of the country, on-site accommodation is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. This accommodation package includes transportation to and from the airport (1000 baht round trip), housing (approx. 200-600 baht per night depending on room type), additional food (250 baht per adult per day for breakfast and supper), and one "fun" evening activity fee (100 baht per person).
