- The use of OFSP Puree by MSMEs potentially reduce wheat imports
- Enhances improvement in the nutritional status while
- Providing employment opportunities especially for youth and women
But:
- Need to increase dissemination of OFSP to improve its availability in communities
- Address the short shelf life of the stored roots
- Promote the Aseptic puree technologies so that ready to use puree can be accessed processors (link large puree processing and adapt it for local use)
