The Aquatic Toxicity of Scrap Automobile Tires

This publication reports on a study of tire toxology.  The results of the study suggests that tires in Ontario waters are unlikely to cause acute lethality to trout and other aquatic life primarily because relatively low rates of water flow can provide sufficient dilution to prevent the effect.
