This report is based on information gained during a literature search and discussions with specialists in food processing technologies.
The report pays attention first to developments in the food marketing chain. If then shows what practices and opportunities exist in terms of storage and processing technologies and concludes with a discussion on aspects of enterprise development that may become important when applying processing technologies in an enterprise-oriented setting.
