An introductory course that contains twenty-six basic lessions and five review lessons. In framework and content, Speaking Spanish provides a sound foundation for further language experinece. The structure of the language is introduced unobtrusively without any mention of grammar. Only a bare minimum of grammatical principles is included, but abundant oral and written exercises conclude each lesson tomake sure that the pupil has mastered the new sounds and sentences before he proceeds to the next lesson.
