This study aims to understand the effect increased vegetable production has on the rural population beyond the direct farm level. The objectives of this project are to analyze the impact of vegetable commercialization and agribusiness developmnt on off-farm emplyment opportunities and wages, analyze the effect of increased vegetable production on commercialization and agribusiness development and undertake the analysis with a focus on differential effects on different groups in society, focusing particularly on the impact on poverty reduction.
