Présenté par: Mark Ritchie, Ph.D.
Événement: 2019 ECHO Asia Agriculture & Community Development Conference (01/10/2019)
This two part session will give an overview of what regenerative agriculture is, using case studies of the potential for regenerative agriculture to heal ecosystems and sequester carbon, while producing food. A quickly growing movement in both the Global North and the Global South, regenerative agriculture goes beyond organic to find ways to mimic natural ecosystems to both improve local ecology as well as sustainably produce food. These sessions will be participatory, breaking into small groups of discussion and application.
