This book has been written with a number of aims. First, of all to help decision makers consider the best alternatives in farming, especially regarding top soil conservation and soil fertility. The second aims is to teach our people of the old and new knowledge of how to achieve the best results from their hard work in gardening or farming. Last but not least, a great need in the Solomon Islands is for assistance from governments and non-government organizations who, after reading this book may want to help save the country.
