This site provides information about the flowering plants and ferns of Zimbabwe. This is a sister site to the Flora of Botswana, Caprivi, Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia websites, which together cover the Flora Zambesiaca area.
The principal contributors to the site are Bart Wursten, Petra Ballings, Meg Coates Palgrave and Mark Hyde.
As of today, Thursday, 11 May 2017, we have 6,385 native or naturalised species in the database for Zimbabwe. There are 24,611 images for 3,815 species, of which 3,625 are native or naturalised and 190 are purely cultivated.
The total number of records in the database (for all countries) is 65,398.
