This booklet is a useful guide to tree planting. It outlines the essential steps in tree planting, from acquiring seeds to the actual field work. Recognizing that tree planting schemes have failed due to lack of adequate care, leading to high seedling mortality, the author has given some advice on how to look after young seedlings both in a seed nursery and in the field plantations.
