Chapter one is this book covers the Hibiscus, which may be regarded as Hawaii's own flower; Blossoming Trees, Shrubs and VInes are taken up, each by full length chapters, and another is devoted to Native Trees, Ginger Blosssoms occupies still another and the last deals with such exotics as the Bird of Paradise and Anthuriums. Both common and botanical names are listed, and while the book has been prepared particularly for the simple lover of flowers, and not for the scientifically interested, care has been taken to see that all botanical information given is accurate and up to date.
