The Alliance of Crop, Soil, and Environmental Science Societies (ACSESS) is an association of prominent international scientific societies headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. ACSESS was created by and is composed of the American Society of Agronomy (ASA, founded in 1907), the Crop Science Society of America (CSSA, founded in 1955), and the Soil Science Society of America (SSSA, founded in 1936). About the ACSESS Digital Library
ACSESS publishes 14 online scientific journals (7 Open Access), two online and print magazines, more than 330 books, conference presentations and an online journal archive. The ASA, CSSA, and SSSA partner with ACSESS to publish scholarly research, reference titles and periodicals in support of the agronomy, crops, and soils science fields. Some major areas covered include crop breeding and genetics, soil physics, agroclimatology, and ecology. ACSESS publishes timely and relevant content that is valuable to a wide range of audiences.
ACSESS also publishes Meat and Muscle Biology (MMB), the scientific journal for the American Meat Science Association. MMB is a comprehensive journal covering all aspects of research related to meat science and muscle biology.
