Speaker Bio: Agnes P. Dycoco is a former Municipal Mayor of Libon, Albay, from 2004 to 2013. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and finished her Bachelor’s Degree in Administration and Accountancy in 1982 at the University of the Philippines Diliman. SHe earned her Master’s Degree in Public Administration at Bicol University in 2014. She was also trained in Senior Management Program at Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore in 2011, and joined various executive courses in Banking, Entrepreneurship and Local Governance. Mrs. Dycoco is currently the President and CEO of a Rural Bank - Banco Santiago de Libon (since 2013). She is also the Chairman and founder of The SEED by JAD Foundation and the Business consultant for JAD Family Farm School. She is married to a CPA and was a two term Mayor of Libon, Mr. John Vasquez Dycoco (1995-2004, 2013-2016). They were blessed with 3 children who actively working with them on their family business and farm: Maria Liza Estella, Joy Bernadette and James John. She describes herself as “a wife, a mother and a student of life.”
Abstract: Most farmers, especially the small farm holders, neglect the importance of record keeping and management of their financial resources in running the farm. During this workshop, participants will learn the most basic business plan approach from identifying crops or product, marketing and all basic knowledge of government accreditation in setting up a business, farm school and agro-tourism.
