Best Practices NGOs can adopt to improve human nutrition especially for vulnerable groups

Session: The Sustainable Development Goal number two is about Zero Hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture. To respond to this goal, stakeholders can engage themselves into activities falling into the seven targets of this goal including promotion of nutrition sensitive agriculture which is expected to reach even vulnerable individuals through increased production of nutrition dense food products.
Dr. Mukantwali Christine is a senior research Scientist at Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board in the area of Post-Harvest and Human Nutrition. She is currently the President of Rwanda Nutritionists’ Society that aims to improve nutritional status of Rwanda population.
