Rhubarb is a perennial leafy vegetable grown for its tart leaf stalks. Rhubarb is used as a cooked vegetable and in pies and sauces. It is usually thought of as a temperate-climate plant but rhubarb can be grown as an annual in subtropical and tropical climates that have a cool season.

This variety is sweet, mild, and early, and is an excellent producer. It is well adapted to most regions where the average minimum winter temperature is between -34 to -7C (-30 to 20F). The large, tender red stalks turn pinkish green towards the tip. 365 days to harvest.
