Dr. Peta Jones has been teaching, working and living with donkeys, mainly in Zimbabwe, for more than 12 years, during which time she has advised a number of projects on donkey use, and designed training programmes for various institutions catering to farmers and extension workers both inside and outside Zimbabwe.  Working with a co-operative in a remote part of Zimbabwe, where she has been living, she has developed and tested out equipment for use with donkeys that can be made by the most resource-poor of rural farmers.
