ECHO Asia Tropical Agriculture & Development (TAD) Course

This 1-week course is designed for development workers, missionaries, and volunteers looking to engage their communities with low-cost, high-impact agricultural practices and techniques. Participants will be introduced to a wide variety of agricultural practices and technologies through classroom time and hands-on activities on the farm, learning to 'use what you have to make what you need'.
This course is considered an 'introductory survey course', and will present a broad overview of many different options suited to smallholder agricultural contexts in Asia.

Cost
The TAD Course Fee is 5000 Thai baht. This includes lunch and coffee breaks for Monday through Saturday.
If you are coming from out of the country, on-site accommodation is available. This accommodation package includes transportation to and from the airport (1000 baht round trip), housing (approx. 200-600 baht per night depending on room type), additional food (250 baht per adult per day for breakfast and supper), and one "fun" evening activity fee (100 baht per person).

Payment Options
Bank Transfers can be made directly to the ECHO Asia Thailand Foundation. Online transfer through Wise (formerly TransferWise) is also an option.
Cancellation Policy
Payment for the TAD course is required at least one month in advance. Due to limited space, we require at least two weeks' notice of cancellation to receive a full refund of your fees. A partial refund may be available with at least one week's notice.
