Agroforestry in Dryland Africa is specifically designed to be used by agroforestry field workers in subhumid and semi-arid regions of the continent. This includes researchers working with grassroots organizations, community extension and development workers and development specialists in government agencies and national research institutes. Comprising all land-use systems and practices in which woody perennials are deliberately grown on the same land-management unit as crops and/or animals-is a rapidly evolving approach to resource management.
