The main purpose of this book is to provide a practical reference for the identification and use of medicinal plants. It is a collection of illustrations of some important medicinal plants, accompanied by a brief description, the family each plant belongs to, scientific names, common names, both English and Philippine dialects, their reported medicinal value, and histochemical findings for each plant. A glossary of botanical and pharmacological terms used in the text is also included in this work.
