MekongInfo is a platform for sharing of information and experiences in integrated water resources management in the Mekong River Basin.
MekongInfo is hosted by the Mekong River Commission, an intergovernmental body created in 1995 by an agreement between the governments of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand and Viet Nam. MekongInfo is managed by the Information and Knowledge Managment Programme (IKMP) with the support of the MRC Library, which is part of the International Cooperation and Communication Section.
MekongInfo is intended to serve the many stakeholders of in integrated water resources management in the Mekong River Basin. It seeks to support information exchange between practitioners from government, research organisations and non-government organisations from within and outside the basin. It also seeks to promote greater engagement between stakeholders from different natural resources planning sectors, in line with the vision for integrated water resources management.
