Section I describes how to prevent some of the medical problems most common in the tropics, and Section II how to treat them.  Section III descirbes the cultivation of and uses for five particularly valuable trees and plants, all of which can be readily grown.  With only these five plants, you can treat a vast range of health problems.  In addition, you can purify water, have nutritious food, fertilize the ground and produce a good insecticide.
