Canistel aina

Canistel is an evergreen tree typically growing to 8 m but can grow to 30 m. The sweet fruit is yellow and soft when ripe and gets up to 28 cm long and 7 cm wide. The tree and fruit contain a sticky latex and the fruit must be allowed to ripen fully before eating.

This seed is seasonally available. Canistel trees produce fruit in Southwest Florida from March through July. Seeds are only available in limited quantity during and outside that time. The seeds are short-lived so when they are available, order ASAP!
