Owning the Questions: A Guide for Grassroots Self-Evaluation
Doug Welch
This guide is intended as a resource for community groups, local churches, church organizations and other non-governmental organizations. These groups may use the guide to evaluate their own projects or to facilitate an evaluation in local projects with which they are working. It follows the principle of OWNERSHIP in community-based development which seeks to have people participate in all areas of their development efforts, including asking the questions. The intention is to provide a framework for beginning the self-evaluation process. The learning and growth that occurs through evaluation comes directly to the participants in a self-evaluation process.
