The present publication concentrates mainly on the growing of leafy vegetables in Nigeria, many of them being little known to horticulturists and their immense potential of supplementing tropical diets unrealized. Mr. Ephenhuijsen gives a well illustrated, concise account of these native vegetables with details of their sowing, cultivation, yields, main pests and diseases and their control, and much original and not readily available information. 2 Copies
