Session : Our goal is to help reduce poverty by assisting a Haitian agriculture initiative with financial and business resources until they have become self-sustaining. This talk will discuss the challenges and successes this program has had. They have been able to purchase additional farmland from sales of produce. Crops grown include black beans, cowpeas, plantain, mango, limes, and soursop.
Presenter : Gordon Clark is an agriculture consultant who has advised agriculture projects in Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, South Sudan, Cambodia and Haiti, and serves as a board member of Harvesting 4 Haiti and volunteer with EMI.
