Introduction to the Sustainable Agriculture Training Center in Myanmar

Since 2007, there have been more than 1,000 farmers from many parts of Myanmar that have attended the Sustainable Agriculture Training Center to participate in several trainings of agriculture and livestock basic knowledge. After the trainings, most of them returned back to their homes to work on their own farms and use their learning experiences to benefit themselves and also pass on their learning and experiences to their neighbors. As a result of their time at the center learning and participating in sustianable agriculture, the production of their agriculture and livestock have improved to some extent and they have experienced better livelihoods. This workshop will share about the center, its techniques, extension methodologies, and some of the experienced results of its work.
