Indian jujube can be a bushy shrub or a tree, drought tolerant, with or without thorns, up to 12 m in height. The ripe fruits are typically 1 cm in diameter; selected varieties may have fruits up to 6 cm long and 4 cm wide, and are usually consumed raw.
Semi-spineless variety with large fruit.
