Atemoya Ibang uri
(Annona squamosa x Annona cherimola)
Atemoya is a fast-growing tree up to 9 m tall. It is a hybrid of the cherimoya (Annona cherimola) and the sugar apple (Annona squamosa). Atemoyas produce delicious-tasting fruits that resemble the cherimoya in flavor. The fragrant, snow white flesh is both sweet and subacid at the same time. The fruits are up to 10 cm in diameter and weigh up to 2 kg, sweet, and most often eaten fresh, in juice, or as a dessert.
