Abstract: With the emerging Urban Community across the world, food security is one of the great challenges. Food sources, waste management, and the environment contribute to the health of an individual. Limited access to land and space for planting is not a hindrance for growing healthy food. In this workshop, participants will learn how to grow microgreens and how to process them as food. Participants also will learn how urban gardening helps the under-served community in America and other countries.
