Presenters are asked to submit a Presenter Form. Often two related topics can be presented during an hour morning session, and afternoon sessions are also one hour sessions with more practical topics shared. We prefer both theoretical and practical information to be shared which may have wider applicability in the region, as well as where they need to consider adaptation. Presenters need to provide ECHO symposium organizers with (a) a title and summary of what would be shared, (b) background information on the presenter, and (c) a photo, all to be put into a printed program that will be given to registered participants. Confirmation of selection of presenters will be as soon as possible after we have heard back from most. If presenters willingly waive the offer of a waiver, this enables the organizers to waive the fee for other East Africans to have a 'scholarship' on their behalf. We seek that presenters attend the full symposium so as to foster more learning and networking. ECHO and Hope International Burundi cannot reimburse presenters for travel costs, accommodation & meals except for those covered by the registration fees, which reflects ECHO's limited funds to support this important gathering.
