This publication includes 20 papers that were presented at the workshop. The workshop demonstrated that Albizia and Paraserianthes are an extensive diverse group of species. They occupy many environmental niches including dry forests, semiarid savannas, humid tropical forest, and warm-temperate forests. SImultaneously, they provide many uses and service roles which vary greatly with species.
