In this book an attempt has been made of present a concise amount of useful information about a wide variety of tropical food crops. Invariably the inclusion of more crop species reduces the amount information that can ben about each. Although a format has been used to outline the information included, the details and extent of documentation, including the species to be treated, have been left to the discretion of the authors of the various chapters.
