Session: Conservation Agriculture (CA) adoption has struggled to take off among smallholder farmers in sub-Saharan Africa. Combining CA principles with other good agronomic practices, which bring greater short-term returns in a "CA-Plus" approach, has been key to creating the economic incentives that have driven wider adoption in programming implemented by CFGB Partners. Other technical considerations and extension strategies will be illustrated based on experience on the continent.
