Rainwater Catchment Systems are the primary source of drinking water in the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI), the Republic of Palau, and the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). Sixtynine percent of the population of RMI, 67% of the population of Palau, and 49% of the population of FSM uses rainwater catchment systems for some or all of their water needs.
