After the great success of the last ECHO forum in Ibadan/Nigeria, ECHO WEST AFRICA has decided to continue its aim of empowering all actors in the agricultural area (development actors, agricultural actors, farmers, peasants…) with knowledge and appropriate technologies in the city of Jos. The ultimate goal of ECHO is to help people fighting against hunger, poverty and those serving the poor in Africa trough agriculture and appropriate technologies and also to strengthen networking among the different actors.
This forum will be articulated around plenary sessions in the morning, followed by workshops in the afternoon. Here are some of the important and interesting topics that will be discussed during this time of learning: Useful Plants in Africa: The case of Artemisia and Moringa, Value Chain, Farming God’s way, Agribusiness Development, The Basics of Biogas for small Holders farming, Evangelism through social Engagement, Post-Harvest Preservation of grains, Pesticides applications and Challenges…
The discussion groups will be led by regional agriculture officials and experts including yourself if you would like to share anything during the forum.

English is the only language to be used in all the plenary sessions and during the afternoon workshops as well.
Frais de Participation
The cost of attending this ECHO West Africa Networking forum is USD 100 (N20,000) per person.
Forum fees covers:
- All meetings and information packet
- Daily lunch
- Coffee break
- Any travel needed for workshop during the forum
Mode de Paiement
Please register online. You may either pay the conference fee during registration by credit card, or on the day of your arrival at the conference. To pay upon arrival select "Bill Me" during checkout and contact the event coordinators make your payment in person.
Hébergement
There are some hotels, guest houses and housing arrangement also available nearby the Hotel, you can choose any of these places. Please note that ECHO will not be able to take care of your transportation to where the forum is held:
- ECWA Guest House: N3,700 and N4,600 per night (20 - 25 minutes’ drive from workshop venue
- EYN Guest House: N2,500 – N3,000 per night (20 -25 minutes’ drive from venue of workshop
- CAPRO Guest House:N3,500 per night
- Miango Rest Home: N6,090 per Night (This includes 3 meals and one tea break) (25 minutes’ drive from workshop venue)
- BBBaptist Guest House: N3,500 per night (15 minutes’ drive from workshop venue)
Repas
Daily lunch and coffee breaks are included in your conference registration. All other meals are on your own.

Post forum tour
Post forum tours, to be offered on the 24th of March 2017 are currently being explored and further information will be communicated. Our hope is to offer excellent instances of sustainable agriculture, appropriate technology and to reach out to the poor through these tours.
