Kutengeneza mbolea ni mchakato wa asili wa kuoza & # 39; au kuoza kwa vitu vya kikaboni na vijidudu chini ya hali inayodhibitiwa. Malighafi kama vile mabaki ya mazao, taka za wanyama, takataka za chakula, baadhi ya taka za manispaa na taka zinazofaa za viwandani, huongeza uwezo wao wa kutumiwa kwa udongo kama rasilimali ya kurutubisha, baada ya kupata mbolea.
Mbolea ni chanzo tajiri cha vitu vya kikaboni. Dutu ya kikaboni ina jukumu muhimu katika kudumisha rutuba ya mchanga, na kwa hivyo katika uzalishaji endelevu wa kilimo.
